Institutions that might produce distribute and exhibit our film.

Today I have been researching to find the best intuitions that are most likely to produce distribute and exhibit our film that match the genre/storyline type.

After some time I found out that 20th century fox is an institution that have been producing, distributing and exhibiting films since 1910s. And is one of the 6th major American film studios in 2010. Its main headquarters is in Los Angeles, California, America.



It produced some supper hit movies in the past such as, Die Hard 2 (1990), Rapid Fire (1992), Robin Hood (1993), The Chase (1994) and Taken (2009).


Another intuition film company i though would be great to produce our film is Touchstone Pictures. This is because the type of storyline moves it had distributed and exhibited are very similar to our film storyline. E.g. Ransom is one of the great movies Touchstone Picture have produced, Me and Jamie are planning to create similar storyline because it’s very popular and our target audience really do attract the type of genre and storyline we are going to make a trailer off. Touchstone Picture are well known for releasing typical features of mature themes then those that are released under the Walt Disney Picture banner, as it is one of several alternative film label of the Walk Disney Company. Its headquarters is also in California, America.



It has produced action thrilling type movies such as, Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), the insider (1999) Gone in 60 seconds (2000) Pearl Harbour (2001) and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (2005)
